Job summary

AcuteCare Health System, LLC is seeking a Supervisor, Scheduling & Medical Records in Oceanport, NJ. The role provides leadership for centralized Scheduling and Medical Records within Shared Services, supervising staff and coordinating workloads and coverage to maintain service delivery.

You will ensure workflows align with CMS PACE, HIPAA, and organizational standards, while supporting performance metrics, training, and cross-functional collaboration across centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years healthcare operations experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with scheduling or medical records in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily scheduling and medical records operations for assigned centers.
• Monitor queues, workload, aging, backlogs, and turnaround times; rebalance work as needed.
• Coordinate daily coverage for time off, vacancies, and surges; adjust staffing as required.
• Escalate significant compliance- or cross-departmental concerns to the Manager.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback; conduct regular one-on-one meetings.
• Participate in interviews and onboarding; support staff development and retention.
