Responsibilities

• Schedule designated outpatient services (Primary Care, Specialty/Sub-specialty, Surgical, Radiology) in a high-volume hospital system.
• Receive calls from physicians’ offices and schedule procedures (surgical, endoscopy, cath, interventional radiology, pain management).
• Ensure complete patient information and documentation for scheduling.
• Transmit booking information to Pre-admission testing and inform OR and Materials Management.
• Coordinate with departments to optimize schedule efficiency and resource availability.
• Enter scheduling notes in the electronic medical record and perform other duties as assigned.
