Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Registration and Patient Access Supervisor in Summit, NJ to coordinate and supervise the Registration and Emergency Department operations, schedule staff across multiple areas, and ensure adherence to patient experience protocols.

The role monitors data accuracy, maintains staffing levels, guides employees, develops policies, conducts hiring, and coaches staff to deliver high-quality service while aligning with department training and performance improvement

Responsibilities

• Ensures the accuracy and completeness of daily registrations.
• Responsible for adequate staffing and overage in all Patient Access areas.
• Ensures a high level of quality service provided to patients.
• Responsible for continuing staff education and training.
• Offers guidance to employees related to Point-of-Service collective activity.
• Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures for the department.
• Interviews and makes hiring decisions to maintain adequate staffing in the department.
• Provides timely performance improvement feedback and coaching.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
