Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, part of Austin Industries, has an opening for a Scheduling Manager in the Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas area. This on-site role leads schedule development and updates for major construction projects, coordinating with project teams and subcontractors.

Requires a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, 5+ years in heavy highway/civil aviation, and proficiency with Primavera P6. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy highway/civil aviation construction.
• Experience using Primavera (Oracle) P6.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare summary-level schedules for proposed projects with sequencing and durations.
• Develop detailed schedules and monitor progress against baselines.
• Analyze man-hour and equipment resources; create time-phased schedules.
• Provide schedules for contracts or bid documents to subcontractors.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Update progress, gather actuals, and report variances and mitigations.
• Maintain historical schedule data and accessible databases.
• Provide scheduling training and technical support to staff.
