Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead scheduling for Austin/San Antonio area civil projects. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project schedules, sequencing, durations, and resource planning.

The ideal candidate will have strong P6 experience, reading drawings and specifications, and the ability to present findings to project teams. On-site work in the Austin/San Antonio area is required with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction systems and trade sequencing.
• Excellent presentation skills for meetings and training.
• Ability to read plan drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare summary-level schedules and determine sequencing and durations.
• Develop detailed schedules and monitor progress against baseline.
• Analyze resources and cost-loaded, time-phased schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide scheduling updates and report variances.
• Maintain historical schedule data and provide analysis.
• Provide schedule impact analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Provide scheduling training and support three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Additional duties as assigned.
