Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Scheduling Manager for its Austin, TX division to oversee and deliver schedule-related work across our commercial construction projects. You will lead discussions with owners and architects on durations, sequencing, and workflow, ensuring schedules meet company standards and client expectations.

The role demands deep scheduling expertise, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to guide a team toward a common goal.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive scheduling experience; field experience preferred.
BS/BA in engineering, construction science, architecture, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Oversees preparation of schedule-related deliverables and presents information.
Represents Austin in meetings with owners and architects to discuss durations, sequencing, and workflow.
Ensures compliance with scheduling policies in development, maintenance, and reporting.
Reviews ongoing projects for schedule adherence and potential impacts.
Oversees preparation of procurement tasks within project schedules.
Leads transition from preconstruction to construction phase with schedule transfer.
