Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Scheduler II to work with site teams and trade partners to develop project schedules using CPM scheduling programs. This role requires monitoring and updating schedules and coordinating with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Engineering, at least two years of construction experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Two years of construction experience or equivalent training/experience.
• Experience as a project engineer is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software.
• Familiarity with standard construction practices, project sequencing, management, contracts, and buyout.
• Ability to read plans/specs and interpret them accurately.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with site teams and trade partners to develop project schedules using CPM scheduling programs.
• Support supervision by monitoring and updating project schedules.
• Assist site management in formulating mitigation plans for scheduling problems.
• Assist with proposals and pursuit schedules as needed.
• Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
