Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Scheduler II to oversee planning and scheduling activities across projects. You will collaborate with site teams and trade partners to develop and maintain CPM-based schedules, monitor progress, and support mitigation plans with proactive, confidential professionalism.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering, 2+ years of construction experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work across teams. Travel may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of two years construction experience or equivalent training/experience.
• Experience as a project engineer is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software.
• Knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing, management, contracts, and buyout.
• Ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in solving problems.
• Reading and interpreting plans/specs.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, team-based environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative.
• Active listening and effective communication; open to feedback.
• Ability to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules with CPM scheduling programs with site teams and trade partners.
• Monitor and update project schedules to support supervision.
• Assist management in mitigation planning for schedule issues.
• Assist with proposals and pursuit schedules as needed.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
