Job summary

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler I to perform routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of basic scheduling principles and techniques with oversight for our Operating Groups.

Responsibilities include drafting schedules using CPM scheduling programs, monitoring and updating project timelines, and assisting site management to mitigate scheduling problems while building relationships across diverse teams and levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Prior construction site experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts and company software.
• Knowledge of standard construction practices and project sequencing.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems with judgement.
• Ability to read plans and specs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Primavera P6 or Power Project is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting schedules using CPM scheduling programs with oversight.
• Monitor and update project schedules to support supervision.
• Help site management formulate mitigation plans for scheduling issues.
• Build relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
