Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Scheduler II with the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. The Senior Scheduling Engineer will oversee planning and scheduling activities across projects.

Responsibilities include developing project schedules with CPM, monitoring progress, and assisting with mitigation plans and proposals. A Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering and practical scheduling knowledge are required. Willingness to travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum of two years construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience as a project engineer is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software.
• Basic knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing, project management, contracts, and buyout.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules using CPM scheduling programs.
• Monitor and update project schedules to support supervision.
• Assist site management in formulating mitigation plans for scheduling problems.
• Assist with proposals and pursuit schedules as needed.
• Build relationships with individuals of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
