Job summary

National Dentex Laboratories (NDX) Thayer Dental Laboratory in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage case scheduling and workflow. The role involves coordinating with doctors, clinics and drivers to ensure timely shipping and accurate case paperwork.

Regular hours are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. This full-time position includes benefits such as health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, a 401K with company

Responsibilities

• Unpacking and sanitizing new work as described in the procedural SOP.
• Sort and attach doctor prescriptions, notes, etc. to the case pan.
• Calling customers to verify and/or gather information to properly schedule cases.
• Primary responsibility is to schedule incoming cases.
• Properly pack completed cases.
• Verify and properly consolidate all cases to prepare for shipping.
• Sort and properly ship packages that require express services.
• Disburse cases for local drivers.
• Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes.
• Answering telephones.
• Assist with filing and/or scanning completed paperwork properly.
• Assist with supply request fulfillment as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Scheduling Coordinator opportunity at NDX Thayer Dental Laboratory in Mechanicsburg, PA.

The regular hours for this position are from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: strong knowledge of dental terminology
• No experience required

• Disinfectant process chemicals
• Personal protective equipment as required

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach
