Job summary

National Dentex Laboratories (NDX) is seeking a Dental Lab CAD CAM Technician Trainee at NDX DH Baker Dental Laboratory in Traverse City, MI. The regular hours are 7:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, holidays, vacation, and more. Primary responsibilities include reading prescriptions, scanning models into the 3Shape System, and ensuring accurate, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be computer literate and able to learn dental CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Read prescriptions and specifications from dentist.
• Scan model work into 3Shape System following SOPs.
• Ensure steps are followed for consistent, accurate results.
• Verify scan accuracy and correct entry of materials.
• Review all paperwork for correct information.
• Pre-stain units following SOP directions and assist in design of products as progress allows.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab C AD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX DH Baker Dental Laboratory in Traverse City, MI.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
• Scan model work into 3shape System following standard operating procedures
• Insure all steps are followed to insure consistent, accurate results
• Verify Scan is correct and materials have been entered correctly
• Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information
• Pre-stain units following SOP directions
• As abilities progress, may include introduction to designing of products
• All other duties as assigned

Education, Training and Skills required

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
