Job summary

National Dentex, LLC in Omaha, NE is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join NDX Kiess Kraft Dental Laboratory. This full-time position supports case intake, packing, and shipping of dental lab work with standard daytime hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include scheduling cases, invoicing, maintaining packing materials, using UPS/FedEx software, and ensuring database integrity.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and process returned cases.
• Sort and attach doctor prescriptions.
• Schedule all incoming cases.
• Invoice finished cases and attach documents.
• Properly pack all completed cases for shipping.
• Verify, consolidate, and prepare cases for shipping.
• Sort out COD shipments and send with proper amounts.
• Send packages that require express services and track accordingly.
• Use UPS and FedEx software and maintain database integrity and naming conventions.
• Disburse cases for local drivers.
• Maintain appropriate level of assembled shipping boxes.
• Organize and maintain supply rooms.
• Unpack and sanitize new work per instructions with protective gear.
• Assist with filing completed paperwork properly.
• Assist with supply request fulfillment as needed.

Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50 labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Shipping & Receiving Specialist opportunity at NDX Kiess Kraft Dental Laboratory in Omaha, NE.

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time (usually between 30 to 40 hours total per week depending on volume).

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Unpacking of all returned cases
• Sorts and attaches doctor prescriptions
• Schedule all incoming cases
• Responsible for invoicing all finished cases and will sort and attach
• Responsible for properly packing all completed cases
• Responsible for verifying and properly consolidating all cases to prepare for shipping
• Responsible for sorting out COD shipments and sending them with proper amounts
• Responsible for sorting out and properly sending packages that requires express services
• Responsible for utilizing UPS and FedEx software and properly maintaining database integrity and account naming procedures
• Disburse cases for local drivers
• Maintain proper level of assembled shipping boxes
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining supply rooms
• Unpacking and sanitizing new work as needed following instruction which includes wearing protective gear
• Assist with filing completed paperwork properly
• Assist with supply request fulfillment as needed

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Required: Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Required: Basic Computer skills and Data Entry experience
• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Administrative experience
