Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a higher education student service office setting.
• Experience with room scheduling software (25Live or similar) and integrations.
• Experience with Course/Class and Facilities data in SIS (PeopleSoft/Workday) or similar systems.
• Strong ability to report, analyze data, and create timely visuals for decision-making.
• Experience gathering requirements for reports and system configuration; able to test and validate data.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical users; liaising with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom assignments using scheduling tools and manual placement for Ithaca and Cornell Tech campuses.
• Coordinate prelim and final exam scheduling, assist with conflicts and common exams.
• Develop operational reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for decision-making.
• Serve as a resource on scheduling data structures, systems, integrations and relationships.
• Contribute to a growing scheduling data mart with Cornell IT.
• Analyze space/utilization data to identify trends and improvements.
• Coordinate with departments and faculty to resolve conflicts and comply with policies.
• Collaborate with facilities, building coordinators, and tech partners to keep space data current.
• Provide backup for 25Live administration functions.
• Assist users with scheduling questions and requests.
