Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in a higher education student services office (registrar)
• Extensive experience with Series25 or similar room scheduling software and related integrations
• Experience with Course/Class and Facilities data in Peoplesoft, Workday, or similar SIS
• Demonstrated experience with data structures and proficiency in reporting and analyzing data
• Ability to create accurate and timely reports and data visualizations
• Experience gathering and analyzing requirements for reports and system configuration
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users and liaise with stakeholders
• Familiarity with standard office software packages and reporting tools
• Ability to cultivate inclusive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community
• Understanding of FERPA and data privacy policies
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Manage classroom assignments using scheduling optimization tools and manual placement processes for Ithaca and Cornell Tech campuses
• Coordinate prelim and final exam scheduling, including common exams
• Support departments, faculty, and students with resolving scheduling conflicts
• Develop and deliver operational reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for decision-making
• Serve as a resource regarding scheduling data structures, systems, integrations, and relationships
• Contribute to development of a scheduling data mart with Cornell Information Technologies
• Analyze scheduling and space utilization data to identify trends and improvements
• Coordinate with departments and faculty to resolve conflicts and special requests per university policies
• Collaborate with facilities staff and partners to keep space information accurate
• Provide backup for 25Live administration functions
• Assist with scheduling-related questions and requests
