Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Scheduling Manager to lead multiple scheduling teams, optimize access to OSUWMC services, and coordinate staffing, training, and performance for a large patient access operation.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with clinicians, and data-driven scheduling across a high-volume outpatient setting in Columbus, OH. A strong background in scheduling systems and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team in a patient access services environment.
• Experience interfacing with clinicians and other health care professionals.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple scheduling teams and ensure patient access goals.
• Manage onboarding, training, and development of Supervisors and staff.
• Lead scheduling workflows and ensure timely patient access.
• Oversee budgets and workforce forecasting for the pod.
• Maintain timekeeping, payroll approvals, and performance reviews.
