Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Scheduler to join our outpatient surgical coordination team.

You will organize and maintain an active surgery schedule, coordinating with multiple hospitals and ambulatory centers to ensure accurate, timely scheduling for patients and providers. You will work with patients, physicians, staff, and operating rooms to ensure smooth workflows, routine and complex scheduling, and prompt problem resolution, while maintaining

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 2+ years healthcare environment experience or equivalent.
• Epic Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure, organize, and maintain an active, accurate, and operational surgery schedule by coordinating all surgeries for assigned providers and service lines.
• Coordinate surgical procedures with hospitals and ambulatory centers; schedule pre-operative testing and collect documentation.
• Work with patients, physicians, staff and ORs to provide accurate, timely scheduling.
