Job summary

Logic is seeking a Scheduler to support an established utility infrastructure program in the San Diego area. The role is embedded within an active PMO and focuses on maintaining and driving the integrated schedule across multiple workstreams, working with workstream leads and program leadership.

• 5+ years of project scheduling experience in utility or infrastructure programs.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with Power BI for schedule visualization within Microsoft environments.
• PMO or program controls experience supporting multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong facilitation skills for scheduling meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• PMP or PMI-SP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the integrated program schedule across multiple workstreams.
• Lead recurring scheduling meetings with workstream leads to capture updates and identify slippage.
• Translate inputs from Excel, MS Project, and stakeholder downloads into a scheduling framework (P6 or equivalent).
• Build and maintain Power BI-compatible schedule data in the client’s Microsoft 365 tenant for dashboards.
• Collaborate with the Project Controls team to validate activity data and ensure schedule integrity.
• Document and maintain scheduling processes, naming conventions, and reporting cadences.
• Produce schedule artifacts and maintain version control.
• Identify schedule risks and communicate them to the PMO Lead.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to automate reporting tasks and improve workflows.
• Provide schedule data in formats required for client systems and dashboards.

Job description

Logic is seeking a Scheduler to support an established utility infrastructure program in the San Diego area. This role is embedded within an active Program Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for maintaining and driving the integrated program schedule across multiple workstreams. You will work directly with workstream leads and program leadership to gather inputs, resolve scheduling conflicts, and provide clear schedule visibility across the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the integrated program schedule across multiple active utility workstreams
• Lead recurring scheduling meetings with workstream leads to capture activity updates, identify slippage, and align on critical path
• Translate inputs from Excel, MS Project, and stakeholder downloads into a structured scheduling framework (P6 or equivalent)
• Build and maintain Power BI-compatible schedule data within the client's Microsoft 365 tenant for dashboard reporting
• Collaborate with the Project Controls team to validate activity data and ensure schedule integrity
• Document and maintain scheduling processes, naming conventions, and reporting cadences
• Produce schedule artifacts and maintain version control
• Identify schedule risks and communicate proactively to the PMO Lead
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted tools to automate reporting tasks and improve workflows
• Provide schedule data in formats required for client internal systems and dashboards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project scheduling experience, preferably within utility or large-scale infrastructure programs
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, structured data, schedule tracking)
• Familiarity with Power BI for schedule data visualization within Microsoft environments
• Experience working within a PMO or program controls function supporting multiple concurrent workstreams
• Strong facilitation skills - comfortable running scheduling meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• PMP or PMI-SP certification preferred
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with onsite availability in the San Diego area as needed
