Job summary

Lillington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lillington, NC is seeking a dedicated Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator to help ensure appropriate staff coverage for patient care departments.

You will work with nursing leadership and HR to maintain four-week schedules, monitor attendance, arrange replacements, and keep scheduling systems up to date while delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience as a Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator or equivalent.
• Ability to coordinate people and resources.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Preferred CNA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain work schedules on a four-week basis for patient care staff using an electronic scheduling system.
• Monitor schedules daily and secures replacements as needed for gaps in coverage.
• Ensure the electronic scheduling system stays up to date to accurately reflect staffing schedule.
• Verify employee attendance and communicate with HR regarding employee absences or tardiness.
• Coordinate employee requests for time off to ensure proper coverage of nursing units.
• Develop and maintain good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel, as well as other departments in the healthcare center.

Lillington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lillington, NC is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing team as the Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator.

As the Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator, you'll work closely with the center's nursing leadership team to arrange and coordinate staff coverage for patient care departments based on census, established guidelines, and anticipated patient care needs to help our center meet its commitment of providing Care Beyond Compare. You will also work closely with the center's Director of Human Resources and keep HR informed of current and anticipated hiring needs.
