Job summary

Texas Oncology, part of The US Oncology Network, is seeking a Scheduler II to join the Keller, TX clinic. This full-time role supports patient scheduling across Mid-Cities locations with travel to Grapevine and Bedford as needed.

Hours are 8:30a-5p, Monday through Friday, with occasional adjustments for clinic coverage. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments and tests, answering calls, coordinating referrals, collecting co-pays, maintaining the primary scheduling template, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years’ experience preferably in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and tests in EMR systems.
• Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Communicate messages accurately and timely.
• Coordinate referrals and insurance authorizations.
• Collect co-pays and other payments.
• Maintain scheduling templates for physician availability.
• Provide front office coverage as needed.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with policies.
