Job summary

US Oncology Inc. is seeking a Scheduler II for our Keller, TX clinic. This full-time role supports scheduling across Mid-Cities market locations with occasional travel to Grapevine and Bedford.

Typical hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, and the scheduler serves as a liaison between patients and medical staff. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience in a medical office setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming calls; assesses callers’ needs and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Schedules new patients, patient referrals and returning patients in computer system; books appointments per physician schedule.
• Obtains and enters all insurance authorization, and correspondence relating to referrals in EMR.
• Collects co-pays, deductible and other out-of-pocket amounts at time of visit.
• Maintains scheduling templates and coordinates with satellite locations.
• Communicates with patients about surgeries or tests and gathers necessary patient information.
