BrightSpring Health Services is seeking a Scheduler for Amerita to coordinate and track nursing visits, confirm authorizations, and manage invoices for subcontracted agencies. You will liaise with field staff, Nurse Manager, and other departments to ensure timely delivery of infusion care.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with providers and patients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of home care preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and track Amerita nursing visits for field and AIS.
• Secure home health agency coverage when Amerita nurse is unavailable.
• Communicate patient demos and infusion orders to field nurses.
• Alert field staff to changes in infusion orders.
• Assign new patients and primary nursing from Nurse Manager to staff.
• Confirm authorizations and reauthorizations for nursing visits as needed.
• Provide infusion treatment plans to treating providers and maintain logs.
• Track outside agency nursing visits by month.
• Request nursing notes, statements, and invoices from outside agencies.
• Maintain credentials and insurance documents for outside agencies.
• Collaborate with Intake, Sales and Pharmacy to schedule visits and orders.
• Review nursing notes in Alayacare or other systems.
• Review subcontract billing for accuracy.
• Triage calls from patients, providers, and internal partners about visits.
• Assign risk codes for new patients.
• Assist branch with weekend on-call duty.

The Scheduler is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of Amerita and Subcontracted Agency (SUB) nursing visits, approving submitted nursing documents, creating nursing delivery tickets, tracking Plans of Treatments, and managing SUB authorizations and invoices.

Schedule: Monday - Friday9am - 5:30pm (including some Sat. and ocassional On-call)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and tracks regularly scheduled Amerita nursing visits for field and AIS

• Alert field nurses when there is a change or an update to an infusion order
• Communicates assignment of new patients and primary nursing from Nurse Manager to field staff
• Confirm authorizations and reauthorizations for nursing visits are secured as needed
• Provides infusion treatment plans to treating providers and maintains communication log
• Tracks outside agency visits by month
• Contacts outside agencies for nursing notes, statements and invoices as needed
• Maintains files of credentials and insurance documents for outside agencies
• Collaborates with Intake, Sales and Pharmacy staff to schedule visits and orders
• Review and approve nursing notes in Alayacare or applicable documentation software
• Review and approve subcontract billing
• Triage calls from patients, providers and internal partners regarding scheduled nursing visits
• Assign patient risk codes for all new patients
• Assist branch with weekend on call duty
• Supervisory Responsibility: No

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Basic knowledge and experience in home care preferred
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**To perform this role will require constant sitting, standing, walking, reaching and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally crouching, stooping, and bending. The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 10-30 lbs**

Salary Range

USD $22.00 - $26.00 / Hour
