Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's Germantown Primary Care seeks a skilled Scheduler to support a comprehensive care mission across physical, mental, and spiritual healing. You will manage incoming scheduling requests, verify benefits, and secure pre-authorizations to ensure timely patient appointments.

Typical hours are 8am-4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with a 40-hour work week and day shifts. This role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and collaboration with Benefits and Scheduling teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of Medical Scheduling, Insurance Coverage and Benefits or Patient Access experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bi-lingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor in-bound fax and email traffic following through with scheduling tasks such as booking various department as needed.
• Retrieve voicemails from Live Vox three times a day.
• Function as a Scheduler during lunches and staffing shortages.
• Assist Benefits Specialist with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations as needed for cases booked greater than 48hrs prior to appointment date and time.
• Assist Schedulers with insurance verification and obtaining pre-authorizations for cases booked less than 48hrs prior to the appointment date and time.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:
