Job summary

MediLodge of Capital Area in Michigan is seeking an experienced Scheduler/CNA to organize nursing staff schedules and ensure the facility meets state and federal requirements. You will develop and post schedules at least two weeks in advance, contact replacement personnel, maintain current employee contact numbers, and coordinate time-off requests with the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a current listing of employee contact numbers for call-in.
• Coordinates time off requests with the Director of Nursing.
• Notifies Director of Nursing of short staffing situations.
• Maintains a record of employees that miss shifts, and produces reports.
• Coordinates with Director of Nursing to secure contract labor when required.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
