Job summary

Deepgram is seeking a Customer Success Engineer to scale adoption across a large, pooled portfolio of customers using a digital-first, one-to-many approach. You’ll design scalable onboarding, automate journeys, and provide hands-on technical guidance on API integrations and architecture decisions.

You’ll work with a high-volume, developer-first customer base, turn usage data into insights, and build reusable enablement assets. Remote-friendly, fast-paced AI environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role at an API‑driven or AI company.
• Fluency in APIs, developer workflows, and integration patterns, enough to run demos and troubleshoot.
• Experience serving a high volume of customers or building scaled/tech-touch programs.

Responsibilities

• Own adoption, retention, and expansion across a large, pooled portfolio of Scaled-segment customers via a one-to-many motion.
• Design and execute scalable customer journeys—digital onboarding sequences, automated lifecycle touchpoints, self-serve resources.
• Show up in person at activation, technical blockers, expansion signals, renewal, and risk moments.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance—run and record demos, guide API integrations, troubleshoot L1/L2 issues for developers.
• Build and maintain reusable enablement assets (demo scripts, integration guides, sample code, evaluation kits, playbooks).
• Run one-to-many programs—webinars, office hours, education campaigns—that drive adoption and expansion.
• Monitor account health, usage, and churn-risk signals and trigger proactive outreach.
• Identify and scope expansion opportunities (cross-sell, upsell, multi-product) with Sales involvement.
• Serve as the voice of the customer to inform product roadmap and GTM strategy.
• Track, analyze, and report portfolio KPIs: activation, adoption, usage, health, retention, expansion.
• Build scalable systems and workflows to reduce manual work across hundreds of customers.
