Circular Services in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Scale Operator to assist scale house administrative functions and operate the scale system within a recycling processing plant. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Shift: Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (occasional - rotates). Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision; Company-paid Life Insurance; FSA; 401k with company match; PTO; EAP; and Tuition

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish advantageous.
• Proficient in entering data and processing information on computers.
• Attention to detail in obtaining, documenting and recording information from sources.

Responsibilities

• Operate scale house computers to obtain weight information for incoming haulers and outbound shipments.
• Compare scale tickets and bills of lading to verify shipment contents and weights.
• Direct traffic with control devices to guide vehicles to tipping area and exit.
• Issue receipts to drivers and collect tickets.
• Maintain accurate records for reporting and analysis.
