The ideal candidate is detail-focused, comfortable with computers, and able to communicate professionally with drivers and customers while working independently during heavy periods.

Qualifications

• Experience with scale house operations or data entry preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn new software and online systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Professional communication with drivers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scales and accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks.
• Record truck weights, load information, and shipment details in terminal software and online systems.
• Process bills of lading, scale tickets, shipping documents, and other required paperwork.
• Verify load information and ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Communicate with truck drivers, dispatchers, customers, and terminal personnel.
• Monitor truck traffic and coordinate truck movements through the terminal.
• Maintain accurate digital and paper records for shipments and daily operations.
• Identify and report discrepancies in weights, paperwork, or shipment information.
