• Experience in a scale house, trucking, logistics, rail terminal, or data entry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck scales and accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks.
• Record weights, load information, and shipment details in terminal software and online systems.
• Process bills of lading, scale tickets, shipping documents, and other paperwork.
• Verify load information and ensure records are complete and accurate.
• Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, customers, and terminal personnel.
• Monitor truck traffic and coordinate movements through the terminal.
• Maintain accurate digital and paper records for shipments and daily operations.
• Identify and report discrepancies in weights or shipment information.
• Maintain a clean, organized scale house and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as needed.
