Kimble Company in Canton, Ohio is seeking a Scale House Attendant to weigh loads, issue scale tickets, and balance receipts. You will dispatch trucks to transfer facilities to optimize fleet efficiency and provide professional customer service to drivers and the public.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and experience in trucking/scale operations, with proficiency in MS Office and basic accounting principles. Training is provided, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in fast-paced trucking or scale operations.
• Dispatching experience in trucking preferred.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Knowledge of basic accounting, recordkeeping, and cash handling.
• Strong customer service and timely recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Attend scales to weigh and record loads.
• Generate scale tickets and enter data into PC Scales/Tower.
• Determine disposal fees based on formulas and criteria.
• Provide customer service to drivers and the public.
• Direct trucks to unloading/processing areas.
• Prepare reports from the online system.
• Type and process routine documents using Word/Excel.
• Dispatch trucks to transfer facilities and adjust for volumes.
• Develop daily trucking schedules to maximize fleet efficiency.
• Perform related duties as required.
• Observe and enforce safety rules and regulations.
