Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a seasoned Construction Supervisor for a New Albany, OH project to monitor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities across multiple stakeholders. You will coordinate subcontractor management and ensure work aligns with schedules and safety standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience in large-scale civil/industrial construction; strong knowledge of scaffolding, OSHA requirements, and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience, or 12–14 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Extensive knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control; familiarity with safety standards and Bechtel’s processes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost, schedule and optimization of craft labor; maintain 90-day and 3-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate safety training with Environmental Safety and Health Supervisor.
• Champion the Zero Accident Philosophy and ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.
• Monitor craft activities to ensure conformance with drawings, specs and schedules.
• Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training programs.
• Review craft time records using established automated tools.
• Monitor installation of materials and equipment to ensure conformity with drawings and vendor requirements.
• Enforce field construction policies, procedures and related work rules.
