Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead a craft workforce on a major New Albany, Ohio project. You will supervise superintendents and craft professionals, direct schedules, coordinate subcontract activities, and ensure safety and quality compliance across all work packages.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent with 10–17 years of relevant experience, plus strong knowledge of construction planning, OSHA rules and Bechtel’s Zero Accidents program.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Extensive knowledge of construction planning, monitoring and control.
• Experience managing union craft Heavy industrial US direct hire construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and Bechtel safety programs.
• Familiar with Bechtel's Zero Accidents safety program and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project.
• Direct craft activities and work schedules; coordinate subcontract work.
• Ensure safety, policies and procedures are followed on site.
• Monitor schedules, budgets and quality; maintain construction plans.
• Interface with Labor/Industrial Relations for craft recruitment and training.
• Review craft time records and ensure conformance with drawings and specs.
