Job summary
Woodard & Curran is seeking a service-oriented SCADA Services Engineer with strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent customer-facing skills. You will support, troubleshoot, and upgrade SCADA systems across municipal and industrial facilities, working with Ignition, FactoryTalk, Wonderware, iFix, VTSCADA and Allen‑Bradley PLCs.
This role offers flexible remote/hybrid work, regular travel up to 50–70%, and a $5,000 sign-on.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Control System Design, PLC Programming and SCADA development.
- Experience with industrial networks and HMIs; ability to read P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and arc flash PPE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve SCADA, HMI, historian, PLC and network issues in live facilities.
- On-site and remote troubleshooting of SCADA communications and control systems.
- Maintain and support PLCs (primarily Allen-Bradley) and SCADA servers.
- Implement field upgrades, patches and minor updates with minimal downtime.
- Document tickets, root-cause analysis, and system changes; ensure client satisfaction.
