Job summary

PURVIS Systems is seeking a SCADA Field Service Technician to install, maintain and repair video surveillance and access control systems across New York City sites.

You will troubleshoot to the device level, configure software/hardware, and travel to various locations. The role requires basic networking, OS knowledge, and the ability to lift and use hand tools; valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years work-related experience.
• Familiar with cameras and surveillance systems.
• Knowledge of basic networking and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain video surveillance and access control systems and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot systems to the device level.
• Install and configure new software and/or hardware as required.
• Travel to multiple New York City sites for installation and service.
• Use hand tools and equipment for installation and repair (e.g., multimeter, drill).
• Run various types of cabling.
