Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional security system installation and programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with access control systems, IP cameras/video surveillance, and intrusion alarms.
• Ability to program and commission security systems, not only install them.
• Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project documentation.
• Willingness to pass background checks and satisfy New York security-industry registration requirements.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, configure, test, commission, and service access control systems.
• Install and configure IP cameras and video management systems.
• Install, program, and troubleshoot intrusion and burglar alarm systems.
• Install and configure intercoms and related security devices.
• Program access levels, schedules, users, credentials, alarm zones, and recording rules.
• Read and interpret drawings and equipment schedules; coordinate with project teams.
