Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an experienced EPC SCADA Project Manager II to lead utility-scale solar and BESS projects. This role emphasizes planning, budgeting, risk management, and cross-functional leadership for SCADA systems, with remote or hybrid work options and occasional in-office presence in San Diego, CA or Bend, OR.

You will manage cross-functional teams, oversee procurement, and drive project execution to meet milestones while maintaining SOLV standards and contract alignment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of project management experience on utility-scale PV solar projects.
• General knowledge of SCADA system design, setup, commissioning, and support.
• Ability to manage cost budgets and project resources.
• Experience with scheduling software (Oracle P6, MS Project).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage SCADA scope, schedule, and budget through the EPC project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholders.
• Lead procurement and contract execution activities, including scope coordination and closeout.
• Oversee system design reviews, commissioning, and FAT activities.
• Prepare and manage monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
• Maintain project documentation (RFIs, change requests, action tracking).
• Identify and manage risks, escalating issues as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
