Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a SCADA Engineer to maintain and expand SCADA infrastructure across a large renewable fleet in North America, Latin America, and Europe. You will implement updates, troubleshoot field equipment, and support the Control Center with telemetry and system reliability initiatives.

The role requires 5–8 years in renewable energy projects, strong OEM hardware knowledge, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of industry experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for OEM hardware and software capabilities.
• Work with Performance Analytics and Availability Engineering to validate system modifications and maintain operation of generation equipment.
• Support facilities and the Invenergy Control Center with upkeep/troubleshooting of field equipment.
• Use analytical and creative thinking to troubleshoot and improve SCADA system reliability.
• Lead technical resolutions and troubleshoot with OEMs and other engineering functions.
• Collaborate with other SCADA Engineers to integrate systems and provide telemetry to external entities.
• Validate current SCADA architecture and ensure scalability of additions/modifications.
• Provide training/development support for engineers and site personnel.
• Mentor team members on SCADA technologies, tools, processes, and standards.
• Drive contractual terms to fit organizational needs and operational personnel.
• Identify platforms and software versions to resolve issues or pose new challenges.
• Assess regulatory impacts on field devices/systems and plan accordingly.
