Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a SCADA Engineer to maintain and integrate SCADA infrastructure across a large renewable energy fleet in North America, Latin America, and Europe. The role includes supporting the Invenergy Control Center and field equipment, mentoring engineers, and leading resolutions with OEMs and integrators.

You will validate architecture, drive system reliability, and collaborate with analytics and performance teams to optimize operations.

Qualifications

5-8 years of industry experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME for OEM hardware and software capabilities.
Collaborate with Performance Analytics and Availability Engineering to validate modifications and maintain operation of turbines, inverters, trackers, data loggers, etc.
Support operating facilities and Invenergy Control Center with upkeep and troubleshooting of field equipment.
Troubleshoot and improve SCADA reliability to drive performance.
Lead technical resolutions through discussions with OEMs and integrators.
Work with other SCADA Engineers to integrate systems and provide telemetry to external entities.
Validate current SCADA architecture and ensure scalability of additions/modifications.
Provide training and development support for engineers and site personnel.
Mentor team members on SCADA technologies, tools, processes, and standards.
Drive contractual terms to fit organization and personnel needs.
Identify platform versions that may resolve issues or pose challenges.
Assess regulatory impacts on field devices/systems.
