Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a SCADA Engineer to maintain and expand the SCADA infrastructure across North America, Latin America, and Europe. You will work with a growing team to ensure reliable telemetry for wind, solar, and storage projects.

Responsibilities include SME work with OEM hardware, troubleshooting, system upgrades, and training of site personnel to improve performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of industry experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for OEM hardware and software capabilities.
• Work closely with Performance Analytics and Availability Engineering to validate system modifications and maintain operation of generation equipment.
• Support facilities and Invenergy Control Center with upkeep/troubleshooting of field equipment.
• Troubleshoot/improve SCADA reliability to drive performance.
• Lead technical resolutions with OEMs and integrators.
• Work with other SCADA Engineers to integrate systems and provide telemetry to external entities.
• Validate current SCADA architecture and ensure additions are scalable.
• Provide training/development support for engineers and site personnel.
• Mentor team members on new SCADA technologies and standards.
• Drive contractual terms to fit organizational needs.
• Identify platforms and versions that may resolve issues.
• Identify regulatory impact on field devices/systems.
