Job summary
Invenergy is seeking a SCADA Engineer to maintain and expand SCADA infrastructure for a large renewable energy fleet across North America, Latin America, and Europe. You will ensure reliable operation of wind, solar, storage, and related systems, and support the Invenergy Control Center with field equipment upkeep.
Responsibilities include SME work on OEM hardware/software, system validation, training, and mentoring of other engineers, while ensuring scalable architecture and regulatory
Qualifications
- Experience supporting renewable energy generation equipment.
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Strong knowledge of OEM hardware/software for SCADA systems.
- Experience with training and developing engineers/site personnel.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for OEM hardware/software capabilities.
- Collaborate with analytics/availability teams to validate system mods and maintain generator equipment operation.
- Support facilities and control centers with field equipment upkeep and troubleshooting.
- Lead technical resolutions with OEMs/integrators and other engineering functions.
- Mentor SCADA engineers on new technologies, tools, processes and standards.
- Drive contractual terms to fit organizational needs.
- Identify platform upgrades and regulatory impacts on field devices/systems.
