McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. is seeking a SCADA Engineer to join our Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, and Commissioning team.

This role focuses on design, configuration, and deployment of SCADA systems for utility-scale solar facilities, substations, and transmission networks. You will lead project teams, mentor site staff, coordinate with vendors, and ensure on-time SCADA installation and commissioning, with up to 50% travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of SCADA construction principles preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in SCADA development and commissioning.
• Experience leading project teams and maintaining client relationships.
• Knowledge of local codes, NERC, ISO, Cybersecurity practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across U.S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and network configuration for HMIs, PLCs and SCADA equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams and SCADA vendor for installation.
• Oversee commissioning and validation of site SCADA systems and HMI.
• Provide trainings for partners and field staff.
• Support instrumentation, metering and field network integration.
