Job summary

Qualifications

• This role requires 3–5 years of commissioning experience on utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
• Strong networking and communications systems knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement site commissioning plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with project teams (engineering, construction, QA, SCADA) for alignment.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests (performance, functional, reliability).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety and environmental regulations.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal SCADA and site communications.
• Prepare commissioning reports with test results and corrective actions.
• Improve processes using feedback from completed projects.
• Assist in Safety Tagging, Lockout & Work Permit compliance.
• Test fiber, ethernet, and serial communications for utility-scale solar.
