Job summary

Idaho Power Company in Boise, Idaho, seeks a SCADA Engineer to join the Power Supply team. The role designs, installs, and maintains hardware and software for electric‑utility SCADA systems, enabling safe, reliable grid operation from generator to customer.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited engineering degree or Electrical Engineering degree.
• P.E. license preferred for advancement.
• Experience with electric utilities and control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead SCADA projects and investigations.
• Coordinate design, installation and maintenance of SCADA hardware/software.
• Ensure compliance with NERC, FERC, WECC and other regulations.
• Provide engineering support to field technicians on hardware deployment.
