Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking an experienced SBA and Commercial Loan Operations professional to perform complex boarding, QA, maintenance, and documentation reviews in alignment with bank, regulatory, and investor requirements.

You will support internal partners, ensure accurate loan servicing, and deliver exceptional client service while maintaining compliance with corporate policies. LAS/NCino and Excel skills are preferred; occasional evening/weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or related field or equivalent education experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SBA Loan Processing experience or related role.
• Detailed knowledge of SBA loan documentation requirements and 1502 investor reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Advanced communication and organizational skills.
• Familiar with LAS, NCino and Loan Document platforms; proficient in Excel & Word.
• Knowledge of post-closing administration of SBA loans (7(a), 504, Repurchases).
• Ability to think critically and solve problems with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex SBA and Commercial loan operations tasks with judgment and discretion.
• Gather and interpret SBA/Commercial information for loan boarding into core systems per guidelines.
• Process boarding requests, perform QA, and complete complex loan research and maintenance.
• Assist Account and Business Development Officers with loan booking questions.
• Participate in compliance training (BSA/AML, etc.).
• Adhere to corporate policies and demonstrate professionalism.
