Job summary

American Business Bank is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to perform a variety of duties related to the processing of commercial, real estate, interim construction, SBA and consumer loans. You will book and fund all loan types in the bank's core operating system and conduct a thorough review of new loans and payments.

You will assist lending officers with interest calculations, billings and preparing spreadsheets, while also reviewing daily transactions, OFAC/AML lists, and ensuring

• Knowledgeable about loan types and disclosures.
• Experience reviewing and auditing loans, payments and changes to loan systems.
• Familiar with AML/OFAC screening and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Process and fund all loan types (commercial, real estate, interim construction, SBA, consumer) in the core system.
• Review new loans and payments for accuracy; monitor rate changes and ticklers.
• Assist lending officers with interest calculations, billings, and loan-related spreadsheets.
• Review daily transactions and file maintenance for completeness.
• Respond to inquiries and follow up with customers and staff as needed.
• Balance daily work and callbacks; support AML and OFAC reporting requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer loan and account information.
