United Community is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist II to support our Loan Operations team in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on accurate loan boarding, complex administrative tasks, and adherence to regulatory and investor guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least three years in loan operations, strong Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with loan document platforms. A background check and full-time, on-site availability are required.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in Loan Operations, Loan Processing, or related environment.
• Detailed knowledge of Retail and Commercial loan documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Advanced communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with LAS and loan document platforms; proficient in Excel and Word.
• Participation in compliance training including BSA/AML.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and non-routine administrative tasks for the Loan Operations team.
• Input loan boarding packages into the core system following bank, regulatory and investor guidelines.
• Review loan documents (approval forms, appraisals, title work, insurance) for lien perfection.
• Process complex loan boarding requests, conduct QA reviews, and complete maintenance requests.
• Assist Account Officers with questions about loan booking and maintenance requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service with timely, accurate responses to requests.
