Job summary

Western Alliance Bank seeks a Senior SBA Loan Administrator to manage the full lifecycle of SBA and complex commercial loan transactions, ensuring compliance with SBA SOP and bank policies. You will coordinate with Relationship Managers, Credit, Legal, Documentation, and Loan Servicing teams to ensure accurate documentation and timely closings.

You will mentor junior staff, drive process standardization, and support risk controls while handling end-to-end processing for 7(a), 504, and Express

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SBA loan processing and closing experience (7(a), 504, Express)
• Strong knowledge of SBA SOP, lending regulations, and loan documentation practices
• Experience with complex commercial loan structures and multi-party transactions
• Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven pipelines with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated mentoring and development of team members
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing and closing of SBA loans and related commercial products
• Coordinate with relationship managers, external partners, and internal teams to facilitate timely closings
• Lead preparation of loan documentation ensuring alignment with credit approval and SBA SOP
• Monitor post-closing requirements and ensure audit readiness
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff and promote process improvements
