Job summary

Capital One in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior Associate, SBA Loan Documentation & Closing Specialist. You will coordinate loan closings, prepare and review loan documents, and ensure compliance with bank policy and regulatory requirements while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will collaborate with underwriters, attorneys, title companies and clients to handle complex SBA Express, 7A and 504 transactions in a hybrid setting with three in-person days weekly, emphasizing accuracy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Banking or Financial Services.
• 2+ years of SBA loan closing experience (Express, 7A, 504).
• 2+ years of customer service in lending support role.
• Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex commercial loan documents using in-house and third party platforms (LaserPro, Etran, Word templates).
• Conduct lien searches and due diligence to resolve lien issues.
• Review loan documents for compliance with policy and regulations.
• Coordinate issuance of letters of credit, including renewals and amendments.
• Interact with underwriters, attorneys, title companies and clients to ensure closing conditions are met.
