Job summary

KeyBank is seeking an SBA Lead Service Officer to support SBA Relationship Managers in coordinating loan closings and documentation for SBA loans. The role involves proactive borrower outreach, ensuring complete documentation, and working with external partners to close loans efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in financial services with SBA product knowledge, strong client service skills, and experience using Hogan, Salesforce, and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years of related work experience in financial services or banking
• Basic knowledge of commercial lending and SBA products/services
• Familiarity with banking tools such as Hogan, Salesforce.com, Excel/Word/PowerPoint
• Understanding SBA closing processes and documentation requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of SBA products and related banking services.
• Support SBA RMs with loan documentation for SBA Closings, including required documents and equity injections.
• Own the loan closing process with borrowers and partners to ensure timely closings.
• Track and clear documentation exceptions with the Senior Franchise reps.
• Coordinate with multiple parties to achieve smooth loan closings and funding.
