Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of SBA lending experience.
• Experience with government-guaranteed lending programs (SBA 7(a), Express, 504, USDA).
• Strong financial analysis, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Generate SBA loan opportunities through internal partnerships and external referrals.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and partners.
• Cross-sell banking products and services with bank officers.
• Structure SBA loan proposals aligned to SBA 7(a), 504, and related programs.
• Review financial information and determine borrower eligibility.
• Prepare SBA credit memorandums and complete documentation meeting SBA SOP requirements.
• Coordinate submission of loan packages to underwriting and SBA.
• Prepare reports for leadership and complete required compliance training.
• Champion responsible banking and environmental, social, and governance values.
