Job summary

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst – SBA Loan Management for a Fort Worth, TX role. The incumbent will oversee a commercial loan portfolio, perform in-depth financial analysis, and support lending and credit teams throughout the life of the loan.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial banking experience with credit underwriting and SBA 7(a) loan expertise, and a strong foundation in credit risk and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or comparable discipline.
• 5+ years in commercial banking with credit underwriting, lending, or portfolio oversight.
• Hands-on SBA 7(a) loan experience required or highly preferred.
• Ability to evaluate business financials, cash flow, repayment capacity, and credit exposure.
• Familiarity with CRE, C&I, and professional practice loans, including covenants and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned commercial loan portfolio, ensuring credit quality and alignment with bank policies.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and annual credit reviews to evaluate borrower performance and risks.
• Partner with Commercial Lenders on renewals, extensions, and loan structuring while tracking documentation and covenants.
• Assess criticized, classified, and underperforming credits and help develop strategies to reduce exposure.
• Collaborate across Credit, Loan Operations, Compliance, and other teams to strengthen portfolio monitoring and reporting.
